Conservation Field Guide Training

Learn how to track & trail wildlife, use camera traps for species identification and understand the signs and sounds of mammals and birds.

Capturing the angles and lighting for photography and filming, whilst also learning about ethical content sharing and species protection.

Learn about rifle safety in the bush, with lion charge tests. Understand how to operate bushwalks safely for humans and wildlife.

Discussions and talks on the importance of conservation, human-animal conflict and the benefits of community conservation education.

Township Life & Support

Spend time with the children at Mshadza Special Care Centre as well as help out at the Phapamani home-based care centre.

Spend time with a local family during a homestay. Take a tour of Kabokweni township, visiting a school and a sangoma (traditional healer).

Stay in the heart of this iconic township and take a guided bike tour. Visit the impressive, thought-provoking Apartheid Museum.

Watch a Siyathokoza Zulu dance group practice and join in if you like. Try a 'Chicken Dust' special from a traditional roadside eatery.

Booking Confirmation

  • Once your application is approved you will be sent a final proposal, payment schedule and deposit invoice.

  • You will then need to pay the deposit and accept the proposal.

  • We will send a booking confirmation, deposit receipt and ATOL certificate.
